I agree. I would buy this rifle again without any hesitation.
I have one small issue but would like your advice. I received mine early to mid July and hoped the rivet issue was completely resolved by then but all rivert look pretty good, no gap except the two on the rear trunnion on both sides. Paper will slide under the rivet on half a side around the rivet. So snug about 180 on each side of each rivet. I suppose I could send back in to have Zastava address. On the other hand if the rivets are just a little crooked and will hold, I can live with it. Everything else was good to go, straight alignment, no cant. I put a BD2 brake and replaced the wire retainer with a plate, both from the AKOU store. Excellent customer service btw and oh yeah of course an AK whore sticker for the stock, lol, and then clear coated to protect . Thanks for any input In advance.

They offer lifetime warranty, so rock it for now and if you will notice that rivet is moving out, then chop their balls on it with warranty claim.

Question, I bought the M70 ZPAP and I need to know what AK version it is based off so I can order the right stuff. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Look for accessories for Yugo rifles. M70 is legit mil spec model – all yugo accessories for NPAP / OPAP/ ZPAP 70 will work.

Took my daughter out to site it in today and I am thoroughly impressed, this thing is so good. And my 4.11 113lb daughter has no problem taming this masterful rifle.
Thanks Rob for all you do for us AK lovers. I just bought my 2nd AK, a Zastava Zpap, and I am wondering if you can tell me what optic and mount you used, along with the furniture. My Zpap has the walnut furniture too, but I want to put an adapter to use an AR style carbine stock, and polymer forearm on it to preserve the wood, along with the fact I am a taller guy and longer length of pull fits me better. Thanks for any info you provide.

Thanks for the info, yes I have the ZPAP M70. I found the adapter for the AR style stock, along with the Zhukov stock made for the Yugo rifles. Can you tell me what handguard you used? I want to change mine also.
